​Scope of Work

My primary focus is graphic design: layout, typography, visual systems, branding, and assembling complete, print-ready packages. In simple terms, I put things together. I take your content, imagery, and ideas and turn them into a cohesive, functional design that is ready for production.

I also paint and illustrate, but my artwork has a very distinct style, as shown throughout my portfolio. If that style is what you are looking for, we will likely be a good fit. If it is not, please do not expect me to imitate another artist or work in a completely different style.

Project Inquiries

When reaching out, please include a clear description of what you need, your deadline, intended use, and any reference images or ideas you have.

Once I review the request, I will provide a quote and estimated timeline.

Payment

A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due before final files are delivered.

Rush projects may include an additional fee.

Revisions

Reasonable revisions are allowed during the concept stage. Once a design has been approved and moved into final production, major changes may require an additional fee. ​Requests that fall outside the original project scope will also be billed separately.

Communication

All project communication should be handled by email.

Delays in feedback, approvals, or required materials may affect the project timeline.

Final Files

Final files will be delivered once the project is approved and paid in full. Please let me know in advance if you need specific file formats or production requirements.

Artwork Usage

The final artwork may only be used for the purposes agreed upon at the beginning of the project. ​Unless otherwise stated in writing, Justin Stubbs retains the copyright to the artwork. Additional uses, alterations, resale, or expanded licensing must be approved in advance. ​Unused concepts and rejected designs remain the property of Justin Stubbs.

Portfolio and Social Media

Unless confidentiality has been agreed upon in advance, I may share completed work and select progress images on my website, portfolio, or social media. ​Credit to Justin Stubbs and/or Restless Nerve is always appreciated when sharing the work online.

Physical Samples

When possible, please provide one finished copy of any physical product featuring the artwork, such as a record, shirt, poster, book, or other merchandise. ​Payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of these guidelines.
